My full-time career was spent working for major financial services organisations in the UK and overseas and, following "retirement", advising small local companies in business and finance. I am now "fully retired" and devoting my energies on a voluntary basis to local organisations such as Leonard Stanley Parish Council and Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. I joined the former in 2013 and was honoured with election to the position of Chair in 2015. I have lived in Leonard Stanley since 1989 and am married with three grown-up children, the youngest of whom was born and went to school in the village.
